Blokes Notes welcomes men of all musical tastes and capabilities. Regardless of whether you bash out Barnesy while waiting at the traffic light, make the bathroom reverberated with your version of Nessum Dorma while in the shower, sing Bach chorales in your spare time, or simply make the family role their eyes while on a long car trip, we want you for your voice and enthusiasm.

Our only criteria is that you could grow a beard…..if you wanted to….at some stage in your life…maybe.

We have no auditions. Our musical director will simply and briefly check your vocal range to see which part (tenor, baritone, bass) you should sing with.

The ability to read music is helpful but not essential. A sense of humour is.

What should you bring? Yourself, your voice, your sense of mischief and your love of singing.

Rehearsals are weekly during school terms from 6:30 to 8:15pm

Sadly it does cost something, but not much.

Annual membership fee: $40 charged pro-rata on a term basis depending on when you join during the year

Tutorial fees: $50/school term
